ล่าสุดของล่าสุดของวงการแอพฯสำหรับ iPhone ที่ถือว่าเป็นเรื่องใหม่มาก ๆ เพราะได้มีแอพฯถ่ายทอดสดแบบ 1 ต่อ 1 ระหว่าง iPhone ด้วยกันแล้ว โดยแอพฯดังกล่าวนี้สตีฟ จ๊อบส์เป็นคนอนุมัติให้ขึ้น App Store เองอีกด้วย

Knocking Live Video คือชื่อแอพฯดังกล่าวที่มีความสามารถทำให้เราสามารถนำภาพวิดีโอที่เรากำลัง ถ่ายไปให้เพื่อนเราดูได้แบบสด ๆ โดยตัวแอพฯ มีข้อกังขาที่เป็นประเด็นขึ้นมาคือใช้ Private API ซึ่งขัดกับที่แอปเปิ้ลออกมาบังคับเหล่านักพัฒนา ซึ่งในครั้งแรกทีส่งแอพฯไปนั้นก็โดนตีกลับมา แต่สุดท้ายทางทีมพัฒนาได้ส่งอีเมลถึงสตีฟ จ๊อบส์โดยตรง ซึ่งต่อมาทีมงานก็ได้รับข่าวดีว่าแอพฯของพวกเขาสามารถเข้าไป App Store ได้

เบื้องต้นสำหรับการถ่ายทอดสดจะส่งได้แค่ภาพของทางทีมงานสัญญาว่าในการอัพ เดทครั้งต่อ ๆ ไปจะสามารถส่งได้ทั้งภาพและเสียง และที่สำคัญคือจะทำให้รองรับผู้ชมแบบหลายคนได้ด้วย นอกจากนี้ทีมงานยังเปรย ๆ ว่าจะทำแอพฯ Knocking Live Video ลงโทรศัพท์ระบบอื่น ๆ อีกด้วย

เท่าที่ได้ลองสักครู่ใหญ่ ๆ พบว่า Knocking Live Video เชื่อมต่อหาเพื่อนช้ามากคือเมื่อจะทำการ Live ให้เพื่อนต้องรอเพื่อนอนุญาตก่อน ซึ่งในจังหวะนี้จะมีปัญหาคือรอนานบ้างหรืออาจจะเชื่อมต่อหากันไม่ได้เลย ส่วนถ้าสามารถเชื่อมต่อกับเพื่อนเราได้ ภาพที่ได้จัดว่าพอไหว ซึ่งฝังที่รับภาพ ๆ จะกระตุกนิดหน่อยเมื่อเพื่อนเราแพนกล้องหรือเคลื่อนกล้องไปมา ถือว่าเป็นการเริ่มต้นที่ดีสำหรับแอพฯประเภท VDO Streamong สุดท้ายคือaสามารถเชื่อมกับ Facebook ผ่าน Facebook Connect ได้อีกด้วย

…ดูจากวิดีโอสาธิตกับที่ได้ลองเองช่างขัดกันเรื่องการเชื่อมต่อหากันจริง ๆ ของจริงกว่าจะต่อกันติดยากมาก แต่ในวิดีโอใช้เวลาแป๊บเดียว
