foursquare คืออะไร
foursquare คือ location-based social networking website ให้บริการบอกตำแหน่งสถานที่จากมือถือ พร้อมบอกเพื่อนสมาชิกใน Network ว่าอยู่ที่ไหน การทำเป็นเกมส์และมีเหรียญรางวัลทำให้ดึงดูดความน่าสนใจยิ่งขึ้น โดยทุกครั้งที่คุณ Check-in ก็จะได้แต้ม ทั้งยังเชื่อมเครือข่ายกับ Facebook, Twitter ตอนนี้ยังมีไม่กี่เมืองที่ใช้ได้ แต่เราก็สามารถเพิ่มสถานที่เองได้ จริงๆแล้วไม่ใช่มีแค่ foursquare ยังมีอีกหลายๆ เว็บที่ให้บริการคล้ายๆ กันที่คนใช้เยอะก็มี Foursquare, Gowalla, BrightKite ผมมองว่าอันไหนคนจะใช้เยอะ ขึ้นอยู่กับ Device และหลาย Patform ที่รองรับได้มากก็มีคนใช้เยอะตาม หรือจะใช้แค่ iPhone อย่างเดียวก็คงไม่ค่อยมีใครเล่นด้วย ลองทดลองชอบตัวไหนก็ใช้ตัวนั้นครับ

ในทวิตเตอร์บอกว่า “What’s happening?” แล้วเราก็ทวีตว่าอยู่ที่ไหน, ทำอะไรอยู่, เกิดอะไรขึ้น? คำถามว่า “Where are you?” นิหล่ะจึงน่าจะเป็นสาเหตุนี้ทำให้มี location-based service เกิดขึ้นมาและน่าเป็นที่นิยมมากขึ้นในอนาคต เห็นช่วงนี้หลายคนกำลังเล่น foursquare เยอะขึ้นแถมแพร่กระจายเร็วมาก โดยเฉพาะในหมู่คนเล่นทวิตเตอร์ เพราะปัจจุบันมือถือสมัยนี้ที่ออกมาก็มี GPS ทำให้สะดวกกับการใช้โปรแกรมบอกตำแหน่งตัวเอง แล้วเชื่อมต่อกับ Facebook, Twitter เพื่อให้เพื่อนทราบว่าเราอยู่ที่ไหน มาลองดูว่ามีตัวไหนบ้างที่เป็นแบบ location Social Network


เป็นที่นิยมมากคือระหว่าง FourSquare กับ Gowalla เทียบความแตกต่างว่าสองตัวนี้เป็นอย่างไร แล้วจะลองลิสโปรแกรมจำพวก GPS Tracking mobile application อีกที
